| Taken in Matamoras, PA, this photo shows the Mid-Delaware bridge that brings U.S. Route 6 East and U.S. Route 209 North into Port Jervis. | An eastern view from the bridge shows the Delaware River. The distant mountains are the highest point in NJ and include the High Point Memorial. (center) | Now in Port Jervis looking north from the bridge, Route 6 and Route 209 are also Pike St. At left is Gino's. At center is the sometimes confusing railroad underpass. |

| Seen at the corner of the Pike and King Street traffic light is the railroad underpass. All vehicles traveling in this direction, except very local traffic, will use the underpass. | Travelers continuing on Routes 6 or 209 stay left. Those headed for the business district or the Metro North railroad stop will generally stay right. Extremely wet weather sometimes causes flooding here. | The underpass (left) sometimes confuses semi-truck drivers and other motorists. Residents say the underpass height is 1 ft. higher than shown and no normal height trucks have gotten stuck for years. |
